    CSGO comes back with a bang with 15 of the finest female FPS players will go at it for the lion’s share of a massive prize pool of 1,50,000 INR!

    The tournament will be held on the 21st and 22nd of December, 2022 with these 15 players being split up into 3 teams who will play in a double round-robin format!

    Which means each team will face the other 2 twice to try to finish on top and stand a chance to play the Grand Final!

    1. Tournament Overview

    1.1. Tournament General Rules:

     

    ·         Any usage of unfair practices will result in disqualification.

    ·         Teams must be ready to play no later than 15 minutes after the start time or be subject to a forfeit one map. A team is considered to not ready if all players are not in the Hosted Server and ready to play

    ·         If any team does not join till 15 mins after the scheduled time, the opponent will be awarded a bye.

    ·         The Brackets will be published by The Esports Club and will be final.

    ·         All matches will be BO1 other than finals which will be BO5.

    ·         Prize pool will be divided between the top two teams.


    1.2. Tournament Calendar:

    2. Game Specific Rules

    2.1.  Game Rules

    Match Creation

    1.       The admin will create the custom Server Upon

    2.       Once all players are in the Server and ready to play the admin may start the match. Starting the match is purely on admins decision.

    3.       Teams will play until one team accumulates 16 round wins.

    2.2. Steam IDs Eligibility

    Only Prime IDs are allowed on the server

    2.3. Map selection procedures

    The competition will be played on the current competitive map pool (Valve Active-Duty Map Group) which consists of the following maps

         Inferno

         Mirage

         Nuke

         Overpass

         Vertigo

         Ancient

         Anubis

     

     2.4 Match settings

    The following match settings will be used for tournament matches:

    ● Rounds: Best out of 30

    ● Round time: 1 minute 55 seconds

    ● Start money: $800

    ● Freeze time: 20 seconds

    ● Buy time: 20 seconds

    ● Bomb timer: 40 seconds

    ● Overtime rounds: Best out of 6

    ● Overtime start money: $10,000

    ● Round restart delay: 5 seconds

    ● Break during half time in overtimes: 2 minutes

    ● Prohibited items: none

    2.5. Custom Player Models

    Custom Player Models are strictly prohibited. No player should use them during their participating in this tournament.

    2.6. Match Hosting

    All matches will be played using Custom Server hosted by The Esports Club (Tournament Config) with only the Admin Staff to be allowed to enter the observer slot.

    2.7. Tactical and The Esports Clubhnical Timeout –

    1.       Each team is allowed 5 mins of The Esports Club Tactical Pause time.

    2.       Each participant is allowed to invoke a timeout of 35 seconds up to 4 times per map. Timeouts can be called by participants by typing! pause or! tac in ALL Chat

    3.       Participants are allowed to take all four timeouts at once by calling them all individually once the previous timeout expires

    4.       Participants will not be given additional timeouts in overtime, but any unused timeouts can still be used

    THE ESPORTS CLUB reserves the right to change, modify, or adapt all rules as deemed appropriate to uphold and maintain a spirit of overall fairness and good sportsmanship.

     

    DISCONNECTIONS

    Please note that all disconnection proof must be gathered and submitted in video form. Screenshots and/or GIFS will not be accepted.

    If a player disconnects from the game other than direct game malfunctions (client crash, servers crash, etc) the team will get a maximum of 10 mins of pause time. If the player is not able to reconnect in the given time, then the map will continue 4 v 5.

    All disconnection claims will be handled on a case-by-case basis, meaning not all outcomes will result in the same outcome.

    2.8. Use of bugs and glitches

    The usage of the following bugs is strictly forbidden. If any bug used is not listed here, it is at the tournament administration’s decision whether a punishment is necessary:

    ·         Moving through clipped areas where the movement is not intended by the design of the map (any walls, ceilings, floors etc).

    ·         The bomb may not be planted in a location where it cannot be defused.

    ·         Planting the bomb in such a way that no one can hear the beeping sound, or the planting sound.

    ·         Standing on top of teammates when such actions allow the player to peek over, under and/or through a solid object (e.g., wall, box, ceiling) that should not be possible according to map design.

    ·         Pixel walking. A player is considered to be pixel walking if they sit or stand on invisible pixels on the map, where there is no visible edge.

    2.9. Map Veto

    Best of one (BO1)

    1. Team A bans one map.

    2. Team B bans one map.

    3. Team A bans one map

    4. Team B bans one map

    5. Team B bans one map.

    6. Team A bans one map.

    7. The remaining map is played as a decider, Knife round will be played for side pick

     

    Best of Five (BO5)

     

    1. Team A bans one map.

    2. Team B bans one map.

    3. Team A picks one map

    4. Team B picks one map

    5. Team A picks one map.

    6. Team B picks one map.

    7. The remaining map is played as a decider.

     

    Knife Round will be played on each map for side pick

     

    THE ESPORTS CLUB reserves the right to broadcast any match. If THE ESPORTS CLUB chooses to broadcast a match, THE ESPORTS CLUB Staff members must be allowed into each game. If THE ESPORTS CLUB Staff members are unable to connect to a host, all other hosting options may be explored until a suitable host is found. Only THE ESPORTS CLUB Discord is allowed for this tournament communication.

    NO SHOW/MATCHES

    Tournament matches are expected to be played at the scheduled match time. If an opposing team fails to show up after 5 minutes after the scheduled match time, you must report a no show to live support. We will then contact the opposing team to confirm the no show.

    No Shows:

    For best of 5 matches.

    Teams will have 5 minutes from the no show report time (Refer to Rule #2) to join for map one or risk forfeit of that map. Once a team forfeits the first map, they will have an additional 10 minutes to show for the second map or risk forfeiting that map. Once a team forfeits the second map, they will have an additional 10 minutes to show for the third map or risk forfeiting that map as well. Resulting in a forfeit of the match.

    For best of 1 match

    Teams will have 5 minutes from the no show report time (Refer to Rule #2) to join for map one or risk forfeit of that map/match. If you need additional clarification on this ruling, feel free to contact tournament live support. Additional time may be given by tournament live support.

    If a team reports a loss for a match, they cannot then contact Live Support looking to get the match reverted/replayed. Matches are only reverted/replayed if a match being advanced is due to admin error.

    Any claims for glitching, banned agent skin, or cheating you must contact live support. Please have video proof ready when contacting live support.

    Teams have up to 5 minutes between maps. Extra time may be given if live support feels it is necessary to extend the 5-minute time limit.

    Hosting the wrong map will be a replay of the correct map.

    TOURNAMENT PLAY

    Tournament matches must be played on time. Delays in the tournament are not permitted unless live support allows a delay. Each team needs to report 30 mins prior to their game time on THE ESPORTS CLUB Discord.

    Users have 5 minutes from the time of their opponent(s) reporting a win/loss to dispute the match or report a loss.

    Using a Agent Skin will result in a forfeit of the map. Video proof must be provided to live support.

    REPORTING

    If a dispute occurs teams must contact tournament live support with valid proof of their claims. If live support is offline, users must submit a tournament support ticket. For proof to be considered valid it must be clear, show all gamer tags in the match along with the scoreboard, and must have proof supporting the accusation. (Cheating/Glitching, etc…).

    AGE DISCLAIMER

    THE ESPORTS CLUB Matches are not directed to children under the age of 16. To register for a user account for the tournament, you must be 16 years of age or older. If the registered player is under 16 by any means, get in touch with an admin and inform him the same.

    3. Tournament Matches

    3.1.  Live Matches

    Live Matches refers to broadcasted matches by The Esports Club which will be streamed on the YouTube and Loco Channel.

    3.2. Spoiling the Outcome of Matches

    3.2.1.  Match Start

    3.2.1.1. Punctuality

    All matches should start at the given time. Reschedule of stream games is not allowed. For the non-stream games if a reschedule is agreed upon by both parties the new match timing must be informed to the respective admin 4 hours prior to the initial match time.

    Reschedules are allowed completely on the admin’s discretion and THE ESPORTS CLUB hold the rights to allow or disallow a match reschedule.

    All Participants should be ready 30 minutes before the scheduled time for each match.

    If you notice at any point, you will be late for any match, please inform a tournament admin 4 hours prior to the game time. In case the team doesn’t show up or respond 5 mins prior to the game time the team risks getting disqualified.

    3.2.1.2.  No-show of Participants

    Tournament matches are expected to be played at the scheduled match time. If an opposing team fails to show up after 5 minutes after the scheduled match time, you must report a no show to live support. We will then contact the opposing team to confirm the no show.

    3.2.1.3. Requesting for a Server Restart

    In the event of LAG, the player(s) experiencing these network issues need to send a screenshot of high pings faced and will be allowed 1 re-host. Teams can only ask for a rehost if they have ping issues, or the game has been started with the wrong map/settings.

    3.2.1.4. Rematches

    Rematches are strictly prohibited.

    4. THE ESPORTS CLUB CSGO Showdown Specific Ruleset

    4.1. Player Webcams

    All teams must have 5 players always on webcams during their matches

    If a team cannot provide webcams for their players, they can use a mobile device instead as the webcam source.

    4.2. Reporting Time

    Each team must be present 30 minutes prior to the match start timing for the map veto process.

    All players of the team must be present in the server at least 15 minutes prior to the match start timing.

    4.3. Prize Money

    The prize money for each team will be cleared by The Esports Club within 90 days of the invoice filled.

    4.3.1 Prize Money Split

    The prize pool for the event is 1,50,000 INR

    The Prize Money Split is as follows:

    First Prize – 1,oo,ooo INR

    Second Prize – 50,000 INR

     

    5.  Match Procedures

    5.1. Lineup

    Each team is required to report with their playing lineup on discord 30 minutes prior to the game time.

    5.2. Breaks between Maps

    Each team is allowed a maximum of 5 mins of break between 2 maps.

    5.3. Match Result

    The winning captain needs to post a screenshot of the end game scoreboard on discord on the ‘#match – results’ channel. A match’s result will not be official and recorded till the screenshot is posted by the winning captain.

    6.  Match Protests

    6.1. Definition

    A protest can be raised during a match for incorrect server settings/incorrect game settings/incorrect map. A protest can also be raised if an enemy player has pings higher than 140 ms.

    6.2. Contents of a Match Protest

    The protest must contain detailed information with evidence describing the problem with all proofs attached in screenshots/video format. The protest should officially be communicated to your match admin only. The official mode of communication for the protest will be discord.

    6.3. People in a Match Protest

    In team matches, only the Team Captain can raise a protest.

    6.4. Behaviour in Match Protests

    Insulting/misbehaving with the admin or the enemy team during the protest will lead to the protest being immediately dismissed and the team in question will face instant disqualification or prize money forfeit or both.
